Teen brother kills sister over affair

Agitated about his sister’s affair with a man he disliked, an 18-year old killed his younger sister in India, NDTV reported.

The girl went to meet Ankit a 22 year-old with whom she was in love. The parents brought her back home soon.

She went to meet him once again but this time without informing her parents, her family brought her back for the second time.

But her act led to a heated argument at home following which her brother Sujit stabbed her several times when all were asleep at 1am.

The girls was rushed to the hospital where she declared dead upon arrival.

The police are in search of the brother but deny all allegations of honour killing.
