Teen survives 23 storeys fall while doing pull-ups to impress girl

A 16-year-old boy in Siberia survived a 23-storey fall while doing pull-ups to impress a girl.

Alexander Shadrin landed on a taxi parked underneath after dropping 230ft from a balcony.

Witnesses said he climbed over balcony railings to show off. He failed.

He was still conscious when paramedics arrived despite suffering serious injuries and he is now in intensive care.

Investigators said he 'climbed over the balcony rails, clung on for sometime, but then couldn't hang on any longer, and fell onto a car parked below.'

The driver was not in the vehicle at the time.
