He is inspirational. Not least because his head is upside-down.

Claudio Vieira de Oliveira, 37, was born with extreme deformities.

According the report on YouTube, his neck is folded back on itself, his legs are badly deformed and he has almost no use of his arms and hands.

He has defied the odds to live and not just live but claim a normal life, and that’s what makes him such an inspiration.

He types with a pen held in his mouth, operates phones and computer mouse with his lips and has specially made shoes that allow him to move.

Claudio, from Monte Santo, Brazil, often recounting his own amazing life says doctors told his mother to stop feeding him as a newborn as they believed he had no chance of survival.

Claudio today is a graduate and works as an accountant.

Quoted on the YouTube video, Claudio said: "Since I was a child I've always liked to keep myself busy and work - I don't like to depend totally on other people.

"I do a bit of accounting, research for clients and consulting.

"I have learned to turn on the TV, pick up my cell phone, turn on the radio, use the internet, my computer - I do it all by myself.”

Did hairy chest kill man?

A widow whose husband suffered a heart attack on a Southwest Airlines flight says her husband's hairy chest played a role in his death, according to news website 7online.com

The wife of the victim says there was a nurse on board when her husband Jack Jordan suffered a massive heart attack.

However, according to 7online.com, the defibrillator on was not used because the wife claims a flight attendant said his chest was too hairy to use it.

The report says they eventually shaved the husband's chest, put on the device…  but by then it was too late.

The airline said they are looking into the incident.
