Woman freaks out after two cows fall through her roof

An elderly woman was frightened out of her wits when two cows suddenly came plummeting through her roof.

Sue Marshall, 77, heard a large crashing sound while vacuuming her barn in Lamorna, near Penzance and thought a tree had fallen, only to see one cow standing in the middle of the room, surrounded by a flat table and chairs.

Minutes later, another cow plummeting through her roof.

Authorities investigating say the cows had climbed on her roof from a raised field of a neighboring farmer.

There is a huge hole in the ceiling. “The cows were not injured. I was in absolute shock," Marshall said.

The two cows caused thousands of dollars in damages, but Marshall was compensated by her Farmers Insurance.
