ALASKA: An Eagle River woman has been charged with sexually assaulting an Air Force airman.

The Anchorage Daily News reports 40-year-old Lagina Griffiths has been charged with two counts of sexual assault and coercion.

Police say the airman and Griffiths met at an Anchorage bar and she took him home with her.

Sgt. Ken McCoy says the airman fell asleep and woke up to sex acts taking place.

Police say she contacted him two days later and made coercive threats, and strongly suggested they meet to discuss her demands. Police say more threats were made at the meeting.

The airman reported the incidents to base officials, who contacted police.

Griffiths is being held without bail, and had an Anchorage jail court appearance scheduled for later Thursday.
