In one of the most bizarre of cases a missing undergarment leads to a peacemaking ritual and a court case, but not before a fist fight that allegedly ended in stabbing.

Two sisters from Inanda, SA, started arguing, which soon led to the younger sister allegedly stabbing the older girl with a broken bottle, because she could not find her white panty, according to 'zimkasi.com' quoting a 'DailySun' report.

The family had apparently performed a peacekeeping ritual but elders believe 'ancestors are angry with the clan’ and they said that they believe ‘the ceremony was not done correctly' that's why the incident ended violently.

According to the older sister, her younger sibling went to another section of their house and returned the following day saying she had forgotten her white undergarment, which she claimed was an expensive one. When she could not find it after searching the place, she became angry and accused the older sister of hiding it.

A miffed older sister shouted back saying 'she would never steal her sister's extra-large panty'. That angered the younger one and she picked up a broken bottle and stabbed her older sister, 'accusing her of wanting to do evil with her underwear', according to the older sister.

She said she had opened a case with the cops, who arrested the suspect and charged her with assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. She will appear in court soon.
