World's costliest burger @ Dh5,897

A gold-leaf covered Glamburger, with some of world’s richest food, available at Honky Tonk restaurant in Chelsea is certified  as the world’s costliest burger.

The burger costing £1,000 [Dh5,897] was developed to celebrate Groupon’s five millionth food and drink voucher being sold, according to a DailyMail report.

The winner gets to taste the exclusive dish free.The head chef spent three weeks to develop the burger.

The Recipe:

The burger patty is made from 220 grams of Kobe Wagyu beef minced with 60 grams of New Zealand venison; has a rich centre of black truffle brie.

It is seasoned with smoked Himalayan salt and served with a Canadian lobster poached in Iranian saffron.

It is served with maple syrup coated streaky bacon, Beluga caviar and a hickory smoked duck egg intricately covered in edible gold leaf. Champagne and mango and grated white truffle complete the presentation.

On October 2, the burger was certified by Record Setters as the most expensive in the world.
