Parents throw newborn girl into septic tank

A couple rejected their newborn baby girl in the worst possible way. They threw her into a septic tank as they felt they were too poor to bring her up and bear the cost of rearing her.

The police were tipped off and immediately emergency personnel were brought in to fish the girl out of the muck. The baby was saved and sent to a government hospital nearby, reports news service IANS. 

The 48-year-old father, who is a wage labourer, confirmed to the police that he and his wife did not want the daughter as they were very poor. The couple already had two teenaged sons and they were hoping for another son. But when a daughter was born, they decided to take action immediately after her birth.

    Disgusting!!! What backward and mean. They accept a son though poor but daughter deserves death in a septic tank. They deserve the same death!

    How many couples tried to kill their newborn and almost every story, the infant survived. Allah decides when one should live or die. May God punish such parents for their crimes.
