Dog sneaks onto ambulance to be close to owner

A 85-year-old man who complained of dizziness and had to be charted away in an ambulance has one true friend.

A 40-pound Beagle mix, rightly named Buddy, did not want to be separated from his old friend and hence hitched a ride on the ambulance, MyFoxphilly.com reported.

The paramedic team that had responded to the patient's call were surprised to find a visitor in their ambulance, while they were tending to the old gentleman.

The team members were left with no choice but to take the dog along with the master to the hospital.

Buddy only wanted to be close to his owner. Luckily for both of them, the man was discharged a few hours later.
