Dog thieves beaten for 9 hours

Two men in China who were caught stealing and killing dogs were brutally beaten by villagers for almost nine hours. Angry villagers even attacked police officers who arrived at the scene to rescue the suspects, according to a report in ‘AsiaOne’ quoting ‘People’s Daily Online’.

Villagers caught the duo red-handed with the dead animals they believed were killed for meat. And they started beating them at about 7am in Shaping village of Hunan Province.

When police officers intervened, they were abused and later attacked with bars and rocks. The villagers then demanded Yuan 1million compensation. But the villagers were not done yet. They tied the dead animals around the men’s neck.

Finally, police managed to take the two injured men away.
