Mom feeds daughter tapeworms to keep her slim for beauty contest

A mother has revealed her obsession with getting her daughter to win a beauty pageant, drove her to insanity – she fed her daughter tapeworms to control her weight.

A nurse, on a recent episode of ‘Untold Stories of the ER’ admitted to the horrifying act, according to Gawker.

On the programme, nurse Maricar Cabral-Osori, recounts admitting the girl to the ER.

The girl asked to go the bathroom and was found there screaming. The toilet was filled with tapeworms.

The nurse said the mother later admitted she had fed tapeworm eggs to her daughter.

"You saw the mom turn white," Cabral-Osori said, adding, "She's like, 'I'm so sorry. You know, I just did it to make you a little skinnier. You needed some help before we went on to the pageant’."
