It is an issue that has raised much debate here in the UAE and across the Gulf. Searing temperatures turn cars into ovens, and little children have been left inside to be baked to death.

More than one tragic case has occurred here in the UAE. In this video, a US father Terry Williams intentionally shuts himself in his car during a 32C (90F) day, with the windows rolled up….

Those temperatures are almost a breeze compared to what the mercury hits in summer here in the UAE.
If this is what 32C can do to a grown man, imagine the suffering of a child.

In the latest case in the UAE, a one-year-old Emirati girl has died of suffocation and heat exhaustion after being left inside a car.
