Tourist beats up woman for jumping queue to use washroom

A Chinese woman was allegedly beaten up by a tourist because she jumped the queue to use the washroom in Gulangyu market street, Xiamen.

A witness at the site said the victim had rushed in needing to use the washroom urgently but a female tourist refused to let her in. The woman, nevertheless, made her way through and this infuriated the tourist, reported chinasmack.com

The tourist woman called her companions on the phone announcing that she wanted to beat the woman up when she gets out.

According to the witness, people at the restroom advised the woman to rush out quick, but the tourist confronted her, took a brick and hit her head, the report added.

Police said the 56-year-old victim and the tourist was taken to hospital with injuries.
