Wife seeks divorce from foul-smelling husband

A 30-year-old woman in Egypt has filed a case in court seeking divorce from her husband of 18 months on the grounds that he lacks personal hygiene.

The woman claims that she cannot continue in the relationship as she can no more tolerate her husband’s bad body odour, according  to a report in ‘Al Youm Al Sabea’a’.

In a case filed in the Family Court, she claimed that she felt nauseous every time he approached her. Even her parents’ attempts at helping solve the issue, didn’t work out, she added.

Finally when she decided to call it quits, when she realised their lifestyles were different, according to the report.

However, she  alleges that her husband began torturing her once he learnt she had filed for divorce and accused her of being in another relationship.
