Woman bites cabin crew

A woman passenger who was upset at the delayed take-off allegedly bit a cabin crew.

According to a report in 'Yahoo!7', 45-year-old Carol Close, a charity worker, had to be restrained and handcuffed during a flight from Manchester to the Dominican Republic in November last year.

During attempts to restrain her, a male flight attendant was bitten a hit in the chest.

Three hours after take-off, the pilot of Thomson Airways flight to the Dominican Republic had to make an emergency landing in Bermuda where police arrested her.

She received a suspended six-month jail term and $320 to the two crew.
