Arsenal to lose Van Persie to City despite Euro flop

Manchester City will not let go of Robin van Persie even though his showing at the Euros has been dismal and Holland are as good as out of the tournament.

Edin Dzeko, Carlos Tevez, Roque Santa Cruz and Emmanuel Adebayor will all be let go in an attempt to make space for Van Persie at the Etihad.

The Arsenal captain has put talks on hold until after the European Championships, but Arsene Wenger seems resigned to losing Van Persie.

Juventus are also interested in the striker.

Roberto Mancini will not entertain the idea of selling Sergio Aguero, the hero of the final day of the Premier League season, but sees no future for the rest of his forward line, according to The Mirror.

    Season ticket holder at City and I'd prefer Cavani than RVP, I rate him but we want a long term player and also need to keep Balotelli (at all costs) and Tevez / Aguerro...like Dzeko too but fear he is off
