On a day that news broke that Chelsea have made a profit for the first time since Roman Abramovich took over, news of another signing suggests the move to turn the Blues in to the next super team are well underway.

Despite the fact that Fernando Torres remains a scoring problem upfront, Victor Moses is emerging as the genuine contender to fill Didier Drogba’s shoes.

Not since Barcelona has a European club team had such a creative dynamic in midfield, that it renders a front striker almost redundant.

Like Barcelona’s Xavi, Iniesta and Messi, Chelsea now boast the best midfield trio in world football – Juan Mata, Oscar and Eden Hazard.

Now Chelsea are filling in the rest of the Barca blanks by signing  Brazilian defender Wallace  -  a Dani Alves if you wish.

According to Brazil’s Globo Esporte the deal is done and ESPN sources confirmed that there is an agreement in place.

Brazil Under-20 international Wallace, 18, will remain at Fluminense on loan before moving to Stamford Bridge in the summer.

Ashely Cole may well be on his way and Wallace will fit in to a creative attacking force hell-bent on being the next Barcelona.
