Latest transfer news: Arsenal to buy striker Giroud

Arsenal are plotting a summer move for France striker Olivier Giroud, according to reports.

The Gunners had scouts watching the Montpellier forward during the Ligue 1 club's 2-2 draw with Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday.

Scouts from Bayern Munich and Napoli are also reported to have been at the match assessing Giroud.

The 25-year-old has been in top form this season, grabbing 20 goals in 27 matches for Montpellier.

City may swap Aguero for Real’s Higuain

Manchester City may make a summer move for Real Madrid’s Gonzalo Higuain, according to reports.

The France-born Argentina international, 24, is a target for Chelsea but Real believe City have pole position.

The Spaniards are keen to bring Sergio Aguero back to the capital, but City may look to offer Carlos Tevez instead.
