Nani continues to play and defy odds on his survival at Manchester United.

Now, however, reports have emerged that Juventus could offer Sir Alex Ferguson and the Portuguese winger a way out of what looks like a dead-end for both.

Despite Nani scoring in United’s home loss to Spurs, the winger has been far from his best.

In fact, scathing, and spot on criticism has come from Newcastle, Blackburn and England legend Alan Shearer.

Writing in his exclusive column for The Sun, Shearer says for all Nani’s build-up play, he is unable to put in once decent cross.

In fact the best cross of the game against Spurs came from Robin Van Persie out left, which nobody latched on to as it flashed across the goal-mouth.

Nani, more often than not is struggling to beat the first defender.

Spurs’ Jan Vertonghen was an easy match for Nani and now, according to The Mirror, Juve are ready to swoop for the unsettled winger.

Besides his on field antics or lack of them, Nani has also reportedly had a bust up with 20-year-old team-mate Davide Petrucci last week.

The champions of Italy are preparing to make a concrete offer in January.

Nani also missed a penalty against Galatasaray last week.

The Daily Mail quoted sources in Turin as claiming that Juventus are unwilling to match Manchester United’s £25million valuation of Nani, but are hoping to land him for less than half that fee.

Zenit St Petersburg were also in the running for Nani’s but the deal fell through.
