Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport has reported that Paris Saint-Germain could target Real Madrid pair Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho.

The very fact that the most fearsome striker-manager pair are up for grabs is likely to alert Sir Alex Ferguson and Manchester United.

Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho has said is certain he will manage again in England once his time at the Bernabeu comes to an end.

The idea of replacing Alex Ferguson at Manchester United, who has been in charge since 1986 and was due to retire in 2002 but changed his mind, has long appealed to the confident Portuguese manager.

Chelsea are reported to be clearly targeting Pep Guardiola.

The La Gazzetta dello Sport report claims that PSG could bid in the region of €100 million for Ronaldo, after being alerted by the Portuguese's recent "sadness" at Madrid.

Carlo Ancelotti, the side's current boss, has led PSG to the top of the Ligue 1 table after winning six of their opening ten games of the season, after bringing in the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva for €62 million.
