Accor opens three new hotels in Fujairah

Accor has opened three new hotels in Fujairah.

The three-property project will include the Ibis, Adagio and Novotel hotels in Fujairah.

The total cost of the project exceeds Dh400 million.

The Novotel Fujairah is four-star hotel with 294 rooms, including 224 luxury double bedroom apartments.

The Ibis Fujairah consists of 291 modern rooms and the Adagio has 83 furnished studio apartments.

With the opening of these three hotels, the number of hotels in the emirate of Fujairah increases to 20.

Sheikh Saleh bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Chairman, Fujairah Department of Industry and Economy said: “The UAE is currently witnessing an urban and cultural revival complemented by the remarkable growth of business, hospitality and infrastructural sectors.

“Fujairah’s vast natural attractions and unique location between the mountains in the east coast have contributed significantly in making the emirate a prime tourist destination.”

Sheikh Dr Mohammed bin Al Sharqi, Vice-Chairman of Fujairah National Group said this project is part of several economic projects undertaken by the group.

Karim Zaki, Director General of Accor Hotel Group said that the three new hotels offer a range of services, including halls for conferences, meetings, banquets and weddings, in addition to restaurants and gyms.

Located close to the Fujairah International airport, the hotel development has been designed to appeal to corporate and leisure guests.
