Britons get to buy Dubai property at their doorstep

Londoners will get the chance to meet Dubai developers when Sumansa Exhibitions, the organiser of Indian Property Show, will host their first “Dubai Property Show” in London early next year.

"We believe London is the best place to showcase Dubai properties as they have interest in buying homes in the emirate. We do plan to hold Dubai Property Show in Russia and Africa," Sunil Jaiswal, CEO, Sumansa Exhibitions, told Emirates 24l7.

“We see a good growth in Dubai property market. Though London property market is much more stable and secure, but there is no reward without risk."

“Dubai’s real estate is one of the best markets in the world and surely the number one in Middle East region, Dubai has achieved great reputation world wide as favorite tourist and business destination.

British citizens have invested over Dh10.4 billion in Dubai property market in 2013 as luxury property prices in the emirate are almost seven times lower than London.

UK-based Knight Frank said in its new report that the property price growth slowed in the second quarter 2014, but are expected to gain in the remainder of the year.

“British property investors are savvy, they understand the potential here and also value no tax policy on rental and capital gains, plus no restriction on repatriation of funds just makes Dubai real estate market not only fruitful but easy and transparent,” Jaiswal added.

Dubai Property Show will be held at the Olympia exhibition centre in London from February 27 to March 1, 2015.

“We are expecting 2000 ‘serious’ property buyers to visit the show with a business turnover of Dh300 million,” he revealed.
