Yafea Eid Al Faraj is new Arra chief

Yafea Eid Al Faraj has been appointed Ajman Real Estate Regulatory Agency Executive Director from April, according to the agency press statement.

Al Faraj will be responsible for the supervision of Arra’s activities and operations as well as the development of its strategic plan. The new chief will also be in charge of the implementation of the resolutions and policy of Arra’s board, and to also put forward initiatives, projects and programs related to the agency’s works, preparation of the financial and administrative regulations, annual budget, and set the organisational structure of the agency.

On April 12, 'Emirates24|7' had reported that Omar Al Barghuti had resigned and was going to a head a new department within Ajman government.

On this occasion, Sheikh Abdul Aziz Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Arra said: “The current stage requires us to choose young Emirati leaders capable of innovation and initiative, particularly in light of the current circumstances of the real estate sector and the global financial crisis.”

Al Faraj has graduated with a degree in business administration from a US University. He worked in a number of major companies and property developers in the UAE.

Arra was founded by Amiri Decree No (8) of 2008, as amended by the Amiri Decree No (11) & (12) of 2008, to regulate real estate activities and joint ownership in Ajman and set up policies and legislations to authorise real estate projects/investment buildings. It also oversees the implementation of these policies and other plans related to them.
