RAK Police says due to a lack of adequate lighting and a lack of barriers in this area has led to the fallen of the car in the sea.
Providence saves two Emarati men, one them is 35 years old identified as G.S.G and the other one is 32 years named as F.A.H their car was fallen in the sea of Al Rams area of Ras Al Khaimah reported Al Bayan newspaper.
Meanwhile Brigadier Hassan Ibrahim, Deputy Director of the central operations at the RAK Police headquarters said that a tip off was received at night yesterday that a vehicle drowning in the sea of Al Rams. He added immediately police patrols, ambulances in collaboration with national personnel of maritime rescue of RAK police and Coast Guard officers rushed immediately to the place of the accident.
He pointed out upon the arrival it was found that the vehicle was sunk in the sea.
He added that but fortunately, the two citizens were survived with the help of local people where they jumped from the car while sinking and also they were leaving the windows of their vehicle opened which helped them to jump.
He added the Providence and RAK police intervention quickly with the help of inhabitants rescued the two young citizens from death.
He disclosed that due to a lack of adequate lighting and a lack of barriers in this area has led to fallen of the vehicle in the sea.
He added that also the two young men do not know the area where they were visiting a friend who lives near in neighboring led to the fall in the sea.
However, he added that the file of the accident was referred to the competent authorities to complete the necessary legal procedures.
