Planning to upgrade your set of wheels? The timing couldn’t be more perfect.

Most car dealers in the UAE are offering killer deals during the holy month of Ramadan; so residents can drive home a bargain without pinching their wallets.

The only hiccup could possibly be the barrage of choices, making it a tad difficult for residents to choose the right car that will fit their budget and match their dream.

Offers like free insurance and registration, 3 years free service and 5 years unlimited mileage warranty are so passé. This Ramadan, standard offers include deferred payment, free warranty and service contract, and many a car dealer is throwing in “guaranteed cash rewards of up to Dh100,000”, a chance to win a luxury car, massive discounts, and even free fuel coupons.

Cash rewards and gift vouchers are big this season, with Nissan, Chevrolet, Mitsubishi, RAM, GMC and Infiniti keeping up with the trend.

Nissan offers “guaranteed cash rewards up to Dh100,000” and 5-years unlimited mileage warranty for its 2014 fleet. “Every purchase will get you a scratch card that will have an amount printed on it,” explains the sales representative.

Mitsubishi motors also pitches cash rewards for its new customers. “100 lucky winners will get to take home Dh10,000 each,” their offer reads. They will also offer deferred payments of up to 4 months, free 5-year warranty, 3M paint protection and 3M tinting. “These deals are for our models – Pajero, ASX, Outlander, Lancer EX, Mirage, Attrage,” adds their sales representative.

For those eyeing a Chevrolet, there’s a unique treasure hunt awaiting them. “Find up to Dh3 million worth of hidden treasure inside new Chevrolets this Ramadan,” reads their promotion. A spokesperson for the company details that every car will come with gift voucher that could amount up to Dh3 million. That’s not all, they even offer up to Dh30,000 savings on select Chevrolet models.

Infiniti is not only rolling out “guaranteed cash rewards” but also a chance to win the Q50 hybrid. While GMC also offers chances to win gift vouchers and “up to Dh35,000 in savings” during the Ramadan shopping.

UAE car dealers are also gifting free fuel for new car owners.

Volkswagen through its “value package offer” offers a petrol card voucher worth Dh500. “There is also a deferred payment option… and a separate cash offer that includes discounts of Dh22,000,” the offer reads. The 1-year free insurance, five-year servicing up until 75,000 kilometres, five-years of roadside assistance and a five-year warranty tops the deal.

Along with Dh1,000 free fuel and five-year warranty, Dodge, RAM and Chrysler dealers also offer its buyers a chance to “win back 12-months of their instalments”. Dodge also pads up their offer with free insurance with select models.

Apart from the norm, some dealers are also offering big discounts.
