Video: Dubai residents invite men who built their home over for iftar

In keeping with the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, a property group in Dubai initiated a reunion that was truly meaningful.

In what appears to be a first of its kind, residents of a few Dubai villas got the opportunity to meet the men who had helped build their homes.

Titled the ‘Welcoming Home initiative’, it was masterminded by Dubai Properties.

The families not only opened their doors to the workers, they also lay out a delicious iftar spread for them.

A video capturing this reunion was posted on the official Instagram page of the builders.

“How about we meet the people who built our homes?” a young boy is seen asking in the video.

Then the process is initiated, and soon we witness the workers and the families, sitting across the table, sharing their stories, and a scrumptious meal.
