Sharjah Police recorded seven cases of drowning within one day

A 40 years old Syrian man drowned to death in Sharjah reported Al Bayan newspaper.

Meanwhile Sharjah Police is still looking for the body of A Somali young man was swimming with his Egyptian friend when they were exposed to drowning on Al khan beach.

Sharjah police rescued five people from drowning on both shores of Al Khan and Al Hamriya areas of Sharjah.

Sharjah police reported via its account on the social networking site Instagram that ambulance and Rescue Department managed to rescue four people and another death on Al Hamriya beach.

The Sharjah Police added that the operation room of Sharjah Police headquarter has tipped off Friday night of several people drowning.

The police added that all persons from Indian and Syrian nationalities where they were transferred to Sheikh Khalifa hospital in both Emirates Ajman and Umm Al Quwain.

“The procedures has taken after clinical examination showed that all were in stable condition with one died from the Syrian nationality in the fourth decade of his age,” said Sharjah Police.

In the context, the rescue teams and border patrol and Coast Guard and air wing are still searching for a young man of Somali nationality in the second decade-old was drowning on Friday morning with a friend of his from the Egyptian National near Al Khan in Sharjah.

The source said it has been received a report at 12:30 p.m. on Friday that two people were drown in the indicated place.

The source added that the rescue teams saved the 24 years Egyptian young man where he was admitted to Kuwaiti hospital for treatment, with the searching until this hour for the Somalian man.
