Playing XI

India: Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami, Jaydev Unadkat

West Indies: Chris Gayle, Johnson Charles, Marlon Samuels, Darren Bravo, Lendl Simmons, Narsingh Deonarine, Dwayne Bravo, Darren Sammy, Sunil Narine, Jason Holder, Ravi Rampaul

Bravo happy to be batting first. He wants his boys to post a big total and the spinners can exploit the conditions later in the day.

MS Dhoni said he would have chosen to bat too.

India will be looking to roll over West Indies in the three-match one-day series after having swept over their rivals in the two-Test series.

However, skipper MS Dhoni is wary of the Windies in the shorter format.

"In ODIs, they have a slightly different squad where they play expressive cricket which really suits this kind of format. They have some wonderful all-rounders in the squad and that gives more strength to them and it will be a challenging series for us," he said.

Indeed, the Gayle factor will be there while spinner Sunil Narine returns the squad for Windies.
