India rode on a brilliant century from Virat Kohli to rout West Indies by 59 runs in the fourth One-Day International at Dharamsala on Friday and win the series 2-1.

Kohli (127) and Suresh Raina (71) put on 138 runs for the third wicket as India posted 330 for 6. And despite a strokeful century from Marlon Samuels (112 from 106 balls)), his second of the series, and a late blitzkrieg from Andre Russell (46 from 23 balls), the visitors fell short in their chase.

India's bowlers did well with all of them picking up two wickets apiece but Akshar Patel was the pick of them with figures of 10-1-26-2. Tthere will be doubts over Jadeja and Shami's performance though with both going for over 70 runs each.

Meanwhile, this was the last match for the Caribbean side who earlier in the day called off their tour due to the ongoing pay dispute between the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) and West Indies Players Association (WIPA). The West Indies were to play one more ODI, a T20 and three Test matches. Their place has been filled by Sri Lanka who have agreed to play five ODIs.
