CSK beat Rajasthan Royals

Chennai Super Kings notched their second win of IPL 7 when they edged out Rajasthan Royals by seven runs with a ball to spare at Dubai International Stadium on Wednesday.

CSK batting first made 140-6 with Dwayne Smith smashing 50 off 28 balls with six boundaries and three sixes.

RR were never in the hunt despite some cameos in the end by Rajat Bhatia (23) and Dhawal Kulkarni (28) before being all out for 133 in 19.5 overs.

Jadeja claimed four for 33.

RAJASTHAN INNINGS

Kulkarni hammers a couple of sixes off Ashwin to raise Rajasthan's hopes but Tambe is run out in the penultimate ball. RR 133 all out in 19.5 overs.

Praveen Tambe run out 2 (2b 0x4 0x6)       

Rajasthan's faint hopes of an unlikely victory fade as Bhatia departs. RR 113-9  in 18.3 overs.
