"Great comeback by Delhi Daredevils and great hits by AB to get us back into the game. We needed 26 off 28 when AB got run out and I didnt get strike after that. I would have been really angry if we had lost today. Ravi bowled a great over to pull us back. It was a brilliant effort by the bowlers," he added.

Daredevils skipper Mahela Jayawardene was optimistic despite suffering their fifth defeat in a row.

"We are getting there. Four overs to go we were not in, couple of crucial wickets, we came back. In the super over, the first three-four balls were alright. That shows the character of the team, the guys are fighting, we need to handle those crucial situations better," said the former Sri Lanka captain.
