Kolkata Knight Riders produced another brilliant all-round performance to hand Pune Warriors another humiliating 46-run defeat at the Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium in Pune on Thursday night.
Chasing a stiff target of 153 to win, Pune kept losing wickets frequently as opener Robin Uthappa looked on.

Angelo Mathews ignited brief hopes when he hammered four sixes during his 28-ball 40 but none of the other batsmen contributed as Pune were all out for 106 in 19.3 overs.

Skipper Gautam Gambhir raced to a 44-ball 50 to provide Kolkata a flying start. But a few wickets tumbled at halfway stage that slowed down the runrate.
But a late burst from RN ten Doeschate, who fired a 21-ball 31 with the help of three boundaries and a six, and cameos from Manoj Tiwary (15 not out) and Rajat Bhatia (13 not out) meant Kolkata had a competitive total to defend.
For Pune, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar picked up three wickets in his four overs conceding 25 runs while Mitchell Marsh took two.
