A spectacular unbeaten half century by Brad Hodge propelled Rajasthan Royals to a thrilling four-wicket victory against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL6 Playoffs at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi on Wednesday night.

It's the first knock out game in the competition with the losing team having to pack their bags unlike Mumbai Indians.

Scandal-hit Rajasthan Royals take on surprise qualifiers Sunrisers Hyderabad in the second match of IPL6 Playoffs at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi on Wednesday.

Resurgent Hyderabad secured their place in the Playoffs at the expense of tournament favourites Royal Challengers Bangalore.

They qualified in style by defeating the Royals at Hyderabad and finishing with a flourish against the Kolkata Knight Riders in their last league match.

The Royals have won all eight of their home games and two on the road, while Sunrisers Hyderabad won seven of their eight home matches and three on the road.

Rajasthan have been hit by off-field incidents which saw three of their players, including Indian pacer S Sreesanth, being arrested on spot-fixing charges.

In an effort to avoid the media glare in Delhi, Rahul Dravid's team hase chosen to stay back in Jaipur till late on Tuesday night, according to Times of India.

The strength of Sunrisers, formerly Deccan Chargers, lies in their bowling spearheaded by the world's fastest bowler Dale Steyn.

Leg-spinner Amit Mishra who has picked up 20 wickets while Thisara Perera and Steyn have claimed 19 and 18 scalps respectively.

"It will be a very good match between two evenly-matched sides. The team is in a good mental shape and positivity of team is very important," Sunrisers' mentor Kris Srikkanth said on Tuesday.

Their batting has not been as consistent being dependent on Shikhar Dhawan who has played some enterprising knocks.

Rajasthan have a formidable batting line up led from the front by skipper Dravid and the destructive Shane Watson who scored the first century this season.

The Australian has already demolished SRH once this season when he scored a breezy 98 not out at Jaipur to power Royals to a convincing win.

Another Australian James Faulkner is expected to spearhead their attack.

The winner of this clash will travel to Kolkata to take on Mumbai Indians on May 24.
