Kanse century lifts Yogi Group

Prabodhan Kanse and Swapnil Patil batted with authority and conviction to guide Yogi Group to a huge 76-run victory over Farooq CC in the 23rd Sharjah Ramadan Tournament for the Interface Transworld Cup at the Sharjah stadium on Friday night.
The tournament, organised by the Sharjah Cricket Council, is supported by 106.2 HUM FM and CBFS as associate sponsors.
In-form Kanse slammed a fluent 103 off 75 balls with 11 fours and two sixes while Patil weighed in with an equally entertaining 94 off 59 which included nine fours and four sixes as Yogi Group, batting first, scored a massive 225 for two in the allotted 25 overs.
Farooq CC, in reply, could manage only 149 for seven. Waqas (46 off 24 with eight fours and two sixes), Farrukh (30 off 34) and Abdullah (29 off 40) had good starts to their innings.
Mohammed Ajmal and Rameez picked up two wickets each to add to the woes of Farooq CC batsmen.
