The Sharjah Cricket Council Academy under 12 and under 14 teams left on a tour the United Kingdom to play a series of matches against club sides.

Organised by the Sharjah Cricket Council (SCC) for the first time in more than eight years, the tour party is accompanied by coaches Mohammed Hyder Kazmi, Vikram Dutt and Thassim Junkeer.
They will play matches against English county side Surrey, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. The cricketers will also visit Lord’s on Saturday.
“The intention behind organising this tour is to expose the young boys to a good level of cricket. We have arranged matches so that the boys get a chance to play on different grounds,” said Mazhar Khan of SCC.
“It is a good learning curve and they get confident from such exposure,” said Kazmi.
