William Hare Abu Dhabi Gymkhana too good for Nucaf Tellichery

William Hare Abu Dhabi Gymkhana rode on a fine team effort to beat Nucaf Tellicherry by 30 runs in the 23rd Sharjah Ramadan Tournament for the Interface Transworld Cup at the Sharjah stadium on Saturday night.
The tournament, organised by the Sharjah Cricket Council, is supported by 106.2 FM and CBFS as associate sponsors.
The Abu Dhabi team, batting first, seized the early initiative by scoring a challenging 157 for nine in the allotted 25 overs. Haseeb top-scored with 34 off 25 balls while Haroon Iftikhar chipped in with 29 off 24 balls to consolidate the innings.
Gopal was the most successful bowler for Nucaf Tellicherry, taking three for 13.
Nucaf Tellicherry, in reply, were bowled out for 127 in the last over with Irfan Haider doing most of the damage, snaring three for 14.
Only Jai Prakash offered some resistance scoring 35 off 25 balls.
