Arsenal Cheikh mate City for Senegal star

Senegal's Cheikhou Kouyate has caught the eye of Premier League clubs Manchester City and Arsenal after his performance at the Olympics.

The midfielder, 22, also had a superb season at Anderlecht.

And eyes have been cast in Kouyate’s direction, according to his representative Tedik Bekir.

Kouyate is rated as an extremely promising defensive talent in Belgium and was linked with Manchester City at points last season.

Newcastle United, were ready to use the Olympics to check up on the star player.
