Blame it on Rio: Man Utd sign full back Buttner

Manchester United have made a signing of £4million defender Alex Buttner.

United bought in the Vitesse Arnhem full-back beating back interest from Fulham, QPR and Southampton.

The Dutch ace, 23, said: “This is a dream come true.”

Rio Ferdinand's career at Manchester United might be now called in to question, especially after his tweet fiasco with Ashley Cole.

Ferdinand responded to a Twitter comment that referred to Cole as a “choc ice”.

The term is is commonly understood to mean 'black on the outside, white on the inside', and was a reference to Cole's testimony in court, in which he said he never heard John Terry make a racist remark to Anton Ferdinand during the match in question at Loftus Road in October.
