Arsenal are in danger of losing both Robin van Persie and Theo Walcott who have just a year left in their contracts.

Gunners manager Arsene Wenger may be doing everything at his disposal to keep their talismanic captain Van Persie who is set to become the highest-paid Arsenal players if he decides to stay on.

But little is being done to make Walcott feel he is wanted at the Emirates and prevent him from being lured by clubs like Chelsea.

Arsenal will hold crunch talks with Walcott after Euro 2012 as Wenger wants to resolve the forward's uncertain future, according to the Daily Mail.

Walcott could leave on a free transfer in 2013 and start negotiating with a foreign club at the turn of the year.

Newly-crowned European champions Chelsea are known to be monitoring Walcott's situation and the progress about his talks.

Wenger has been unhappy with Walcott's inconsistent displays for the Gunners which may be the reason for delaying contract talks.

But the Gunners could stand to lose in excess of £20 million if he goes on a free transfer next year.

Walcott who earns around £70,000-per-weekwanted to discuss a new deal in October.

Although informal talks have taken place, the club's failure to present him a new deal has raised doubt over his future with Chelsea beckoning.
