Chelsea are preparing a final £7.5 million offer for wantaway Wigan’s Victor Moses, according to the Daily Mail.

It means they will not buy Jesus Navas, but have gone for Moses instead.

The European champions have had three bids turned down with Wigan holding out for £10m.

Liverpool and Arsenal are also reported to be interested in the 21-year old.

The talented former Crystal Palace winger was largely responsible for Roberto Martinez’s side beating the drop last season.

But he refuses to sign a new deal at the DW Stadium and Chelsea are ready to step in for Moses, ahead of west London rivals QPR.

Moses has a year left on his contract but Wigan would be due compensation if he leaves next season given he is under 24.

The youngster would be yet another attacking midfielder added to the squad by Roberto Di Matteo, who has already picked up Marko Marin, Eden Hazard and Oscar.
