Arsenal might have a look at what’s on offer at Chelsea.

Josh McEachran and Romelu Lukaku will be allowed to leave Chelsea on loan if they do not play enough games this year.

Stamford Bridge boss Andre Villas-Boas regards the highly-rated teenagers as key figures in his future plans.

But he fears their progress could be hampered by a lack of regular football this season, according to the Sun.

And AVB will allow both 18-year-olds to join Premier League rivals in the New Year if he is unable to give them enough first-team opportunities at Chelsea before then.

Wigan boss Roberto Martinez has already had a bid to borrow England Under-21 midfielder McEachran rejected.

And plans to loan summer signing Lukaku to Stoke were scuppered by Premier League rules preventing a player joining two teams in the same transfer window.

A number of ambitious Championship clubs have also made enquiries to take the duo when the Football League's loan window opens tomorrow.

But Chelsea want them to gain top-flight experience.

McEachran and Lukaku are expected to be on the bench for Saturday's trip to Sunderland.

But £20million striker Lukaku is not eligible to play in the Champions League after being left out of the Blues' European squad.

Gael Kakuta turned down Fulham and a host of French teams to head up north and become a man.

The Chelsea hitman, who opted to join Bolton on loan until the New Year, said: "There were other clubs in for me.

"I'm 20 and I need to play. I have to accept I am a man and not a child any more. I need experience."
