Premier League clubs are on alert after highy-rated Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente asked for a move, according to a report.
The big frontman helped Bilbao reach the finals of the Europa League, humiliating Manchester United along the way, and Spain's Copa del Rey last season but now it's being claimed he wants out.
As with so many players, the piece claims that Llorente is looking to pack his bags and join a Champions League club.
The 27-year-old was linked with Tottenham during the reign of former manager Harry Redknapp and has been more recently mentioned as a potential replacement for Robin van Persie at Arsenal, according to the Daily Mirror.
Spurs have been trying to buy Emmanuel Adebayor, who did well on loan from Manchester City last season.
Manchester City will also likely throw their hat in the ring, especially if their move for van Persie fails as well.
