Man Utd could seal EPL title before April 30

The race for the Premier League title appeared to be all but over on Sunday as reigning champions Manchester United opened up an eight-point gap over second-placed Manchester City with just six games left.

United beat Queens Park Rangers 2-0 at Old Trafford to pile the pressure on City ahead of their match later away to Arsenal on Sunday.

But City were unable to rise to the challenge, with the Gunners winning 1-0 thanks to Mikel Arteta's goal three minutes from time.

City's day then got worse when controversial striker Mario Balotelli was sent for a second bookable offence in the 89th minute.
