Harry Redknapp’s exit from Tottenham Hotspur will leave at least two players unsettled.

Luka Modric, who has made no bones about the fact that he is unlikely stay at the club without Harry.

However, even more interesting will be the position Gareth Bale takes.

Of all the clubs that have shown interest in the two – Chelsea, Barcelona, Manchester City, AC Milan, it’s Manchester United that could be poised for a Bale-Modric double swoop, should the new Spurs manager be unable to convince the duo to stay.

What’s more is the fact that Mani’s position at United has not yet been settled with the Portuguese winger claiming he is being forced out of the club.

According to The Mirror (https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/nani-fears-hes-being-forced-887156) the Portuguese winger still has two years left on his existing deal, but was hoping to get a pay rise that would bring him more in line with the club’s top earners.

Now the 25-year-old is starting to feel that perhaps United are getting ready to cash in on him while his value is at its highest.

He arrived at Old Trafford from Sporting Lisbon in a £25million deal in 2007 and United would make a healthy profit on any sale.

As Sir Alex Ferguson prepares to wrest back the trophy from Manchester City and chase Chelsea in Europe, he might well dump Nani to make space for Gareth Bale.

With Bale on one wing and Valencia and/or Ashley Young on the other, United’s attacking intent could be serious.

Then there is Modric who Sir Alex has made it clear he admires.
