Spurs have been put on alert as Manchester United prepare to offload Brazil midfielder Anderson  and winger Nani.

United are prepared to consider offers of £15 million for the duo as they seek to recoup some money after a summer of heavy spending, according to the Daily Mail.

Tottenham are among the clubs who could be interested in the 24-year-old Anderson should they fail to land top target Joao Moutinho from Porto.

Ferguson has splashed out £45m on five players, including Robin van Persie, and club owners the Glazers are keen to trim the squad.

With so many options in midfield, Anderson is considered disposable.

Nani is also vulnerable, with the Portugal winger being left out of the win over Fulham.
