When Jose Mourinho left eyebrows were raised at Chelsea.

A succession of coaches followed and one thing was certain – at Stamford Bridge no one was safe from Roman Abramovich.

Now according to reports UK’s Mirror at least three Chelsea players are at risk.
The report states that the owner has decided that no player in his 30s will be offered longer than a one-year deal.

That puts captain John Terry, 31, Frank Lampard, 34, and Ashley Cole, 31, are in a direct line of fire.

That Abramovich would let Champions League final hero Didier Drogba go should send a clear message.

Paris St-Germain are said to be ready to move for Cole.

Lampard it seems will more likely move a la Beckham to the US with Los Angeles Galaxy, rather than play for anyone else in the Premier League.

However, it is Manchester United that could be ready to swoop for Cole as Sir Alex is in desperate need of defensive re-enforcements.
