Roberto Mancini poured cold water over speculation linking Arsenal skipper Robin van Persie with a move to Etihad, according to the Mirror.

Van Persie's departure is widely expected since the Dutchman yet to sign a new deal at the Emirates.

City have been strongly linked with a move for van Persie this summer while Juventus are also interested in the .

However, Mancini refused to confirm if van Persie was on his list of transfer targets this summer.

"Van Persie? He is an Arsenal player and I don't want to disrespect Wenger," Mancini told Sky Sport Italia.

"We have four strikers and we will start the preseason in five days, it's unlikely there will be major changes in such a short time."

Mancini also played down speculation that Edin Dzeko could leave the club for Juventus and he hopes Aleksandar Kolarov will remain at Eastlands.

"The same goes for Dzeko, his farewell is not expected," added Mancini.

The interest of Juventus for him? It will be difficult that Edin goes away.

"Kolarov? I myself wanted him to City, he is a great player. If it depends on me, he would remain at the City. I'd love to have him again in the next season but I cannot impose myself on his will."
