Arsenal target Fernando Llorente has put Spurs on red alert after refusing to sign a new deal at Athletic Bilbao, according to The Sun.
Tottenham watched Spain striker Llorente, 27, last season but were put off by his £30 million release clause.
But he has only one year left on his contract and he could now go for around £20m despite Bilbao president Jose Urrutia hardline stance.
Urrutia said: “He has told us his decision not to sign a new contract is definitive. But the clubs that want him must pay the clause of his contract.”
