Newcastle have signed teenage Australian defender Curtis Good from Melbourne Heart, according to The Sun.
Centre-back Good, 19, has signed a six-year deal with the Magpies following a successful trial.
Newcastle have also bid £4 million for FC Twente’s centre-back Douglas Texeira.
Toon have been tracking the Brazilian since last season and have offered him £40,000 a week.
