Samir Nasri will never be forgiven by Arsenal fans after calling them "disrespectful" following his acrimonious move to rivals Manchester City last summer.

The Gunners faithful had the last laugh at the Emirates as Manchester City blew their title chances by losing 1-0 at the Emirates on Sunday.

Nasri made a valiant effort to break Arsenal's stranglehold in the midfield but endured the humiliation of being substituted towards the end much to the delight of home fans who booed his every touch.

The French international has hit back at Arsenal fans in a new Twitter row.

Nasri quit Arsenal for City last summer claiming he wanted to win titles and silverware.

However, he insists City will win something before his old club after he was goaded on Twitter by Gunners fan Piers Morgan, according to the Daily Mirror.

Morgan wrote: "Just wondered how that trophy cabinet's coming along?:

Nasri tweeted back: "I'm aware what I said about titles. I'm sure I will lift a trophy with Man City before AFC.

"And to all the Arsenal fans, move on. City are 10 points ahead of you. Just support your team and forget about me."
